The Vietnamese midday hours are only conditionally suitable for photography. So you can visit the Hoi An photo gallery and accept the offer of the photographer and gallery owner to accompany him tomorrow to document the famous fish sauce production. That already fills the rest of the day and relaxing with Pho soup and an Oolong tea would be enough. Then I see an empty Indochina-style tea house, complete silence fills the high, dark room. I take a seat, a young woman approaches me and with a gesture of sign language she places the small order pad on the beautifully laid table. I choose quietly, with deliberation and the utmost appreciation.
