The reduced landscape brings calm to the mental turmoil.

TRAVELLING THROUGH REDUCED LANDSCAPE

CALMNESS COMES INTO MY MIND

AND – INCREASED PERCEPTION.

NOTHING DISTRACTING, IF TOLERATED

Driving along the Red Dune Road, the famous longitudinal dunes of the Kalahari line the way. Huge weaver birds’ nests, attached to trees and electricity poles like hanging bumps, are photographed. At the roadside, first steps are taken in a totally red sand, a grasshopper, perfectly camouflaged, scrawny grasses, withered branches. Becoming aware of the moment and finding firm footing underfoot. All beautiful and worth looking at for much longer. Spotting always gives me pleasure.
